WHO WE ARE

Two mates talking football.

The Lion & Gun is basically the football chat we would be having anyway — match reactions, transfers, predictions, Arsenal, Chelsea and the occasional bit of actual analysis.

UMAIR

Chelsea.

Umair spends a fairly unreasonable amount of his free time thinking about football. He’s been an avid Chelsea supporter since he learned Spurs were shit, but will happily watch, argue about and overanalyse pretty much anything happening in the Premier League.

Outside football, he works, runs for a very long time, and plays futsal on Wednesdays — which he’s not very good at and usually puffs out pretty quickly. The Lion & Gun is a project and hobby, and mostly an excuse to put the football conversations he and Jack were already having somewhere.

In 2026, Chelsea published a piece about him finally seeing the club play live in Sydney.

JACK

Arsenal.
